Company Brief:
A leading beverages manufacturer (name hidden as per confidentiality clause) approach us with an interesting problem statement. To hire a 900 strong sales team for a new line of products with a timeline of 6 months.
The Challenge:
Hiring to scale within the expected delivery dates that too on a pan India basis was a challenge which our team was craving to take up head on. The strategy to hire had to deal with 3 major issues :
1. Hiring across 29 states required a strong knowledge of working around the different regional barriers
2. The volume of hiring had to be simultaneously dealt with speed and agility
3. Ensuring quality hiring with low attrition would be a game changer for Headstart
The Action Plan:
Spending 2 weeks over setting up processes that were fluid and transparent required intense brainstorming sessions with the HR team at the client side. We had to design an exponentially scalable hiring standard which has been described below.
